When You’ve Been Knocked Off Your Feet

I recently talked to someone who was knocked off their feet by life.

The hurt is huge, the pain builds daily. Yet they run. They run from the One who could ease the pain and bring peace into a troubled heart.

The Father isn’t waiting for you to fix your life, He’s just waiting for you to say a quiet yes, grab His hand and start walking.

James 4:7-10 So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. MSG

It’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.

Much love, Sue

Your description of that dizzy, disorienting sensation mirrors exactly how I felt when I realized…
